How to add large downloadable files to an Item.
Normally, files up to 1.5mb will upload without any problems, i.e. the web server does not
time-out. However, if you need to associate large files to an Item to be downloaded you will need to use
FTP (file transfer protocol).
To associate large downloadable files to an Item:
- Go to the Item and select the Downloads icon (top right with a curved arrow pointing down).
- Click the FTP Option.
- Enter a caption (this will be the clickable text) and the exact file name. Note: the download folder where you will upload the file via FTP. There are numbered from 1 to 10.
- Click the Add button.
To upload via FTP:
- Login to your FTP account (setup by Logos Flow).
- Uploaded the file from your computer to the website. Important: make sure you upload to the correct the folder (numbered from 1 to 10).
